The challenge

Manual field spraying is slow, uneven and labour-heavy. It wastes water and chemical, exposes operators to spray, and eats time farmers do not have. The goal was a spraying drone that delivers uniform coverage, raises yield, and cuts the time and cost of spraying, built to a standard that could be manufactured and sold at scale.

What we built

We designed and built a complete agricultural spraying drone, and took it to market.

  • A 17 litre tank paired with a centrifugal atomiser and a variable-flow spraying system that reduces droplet size for uniform coverage
  • Three flight modes, manual, autonomous and return-to-home, with path planning and intelligent orientation control
  • An onboard camera and Android-based control software
  • A rugged airframe rated IP65 with Level-3 wind resistance for stable flight in challenging conditions
  • Dual-battery power with fast, balanced and storage charging modes

The results

The drone shipped at volume and delivered real savings in the field. More than 200 units were sold across India and Australia, spraying is faster and safer, and water use drops sharply.
